Selina is one of my favorite coworking spaces and hotels all over the world. It’s a renowned company offering coworking spaces in multiple cities of not only Mexico but many other countries of the world as well, and it’s revolutionizing the way people work and live in Cancun.
Besides dorm rooms and cute private ones, the company offers flexible, creative workspaces that enable remote freelancers and entrepreneurs to thrive in a collaborative environment.

Top coffee shops from where you can work peacefully
My favorite thing to do when I was still living and working in my corporate job in Cancun was working from coffe shops.
But there was no such thing at the time, and I used to work during the weekend as well, to be able to do it from the cafes in Cancun. So I know all the best ones to work from.
So every time I go back to Cancun I always go out and work from my favorite places instead of working from home. Here are the top cafes from where you can work on your business.
8. Sirena Morena
Sirena Morena is a vegan and vegetarian restaurant located at a short distance from the Municipal Palace in Cancun city. This is where you can go for a cozy place to work from along with a nice cup of coffee and delicious healthy food.
The restaurant has a delightful design, with comfortable outoor seating options. And if it’s too hot they have fans spread out in the garden.
You can make use of the wireless internet throughout the restaurant, and the staff here is also really nice and friendly.
9. Che Che
Have been my go to place lately. I love the layout and decor and they also have vegetarian healthy food and great coffe.
Located in the same area as Sirena Morena, Che Che is another great place to check out when looking for a coffee shop where you can work and enjoy some quality beverages.
With warm, traditional decor and plenty of space, the atmosphere here is really nice and cozy — making it a wonderful spot whether you’re looking to grab a delicious cup of coffee or a place to work from when in Cancun!
10. Iku Restaurante
Iku Restaurante is a unique restaurant located in the heart of Cancun, right beside Che Che.
This cozy eatery offers not only delicious Mexican food but also a space for entrepreneurs and freelancers to work on their projects.
Because of its free wifi, comfortable seating, and welcoming atmosphere, Iku Restaurante is one of the best options if you’re looking for a place to work in Cancun.
11. Pepe Piraña
Located on the high-traffiked avenida Tulum, but in a protected area, below the Ibis Hotel, the Pepe Piraña Cafe is another one of my favorite spots offering free WIFI and a cozy ambiance with both indoor or outdoor seating.
The owner is a nice guy from Uruguay, which is why you will find delicious Empanada to snack on while working. Their Chocolate Croissant is delicious too.
What’s more, the service and staff here are very friendly as well and will make sure everything is a-okay for you.
Last but not least, Rooster is a delightful coffee shop. They have actually two locations, one on the Avenida Nader, right close to the first two mentioned spots, and the other one near Mercado 23.
They have a great variety of food, from delicious breakfast to vegan dishes and smoothies, besides great coffe.
Just like all the other coffee shops mentioned above, it’s a cozy spot with comfortable amenities, a good internet connection, delicious coffee, and remarkably friendly service!
Starbucks has become a global phenomenon, offering the perfect place for customers to get their morning coffee and relax with friends.
I don’t really like their coffee, to be honest, but I am fond of their Chai, not very healthy but delicious.
There are countless Starbucks locations in Cancun that offer visitors a great spot to take advantage of their free WiFi service while enjoying their specialty coffee drinks.
Some of them are a bit overcrowded, to be honest. I loved the ones along the Hotel Zone and I found them quieter than the others. It’s a good way to indulge in some pastry while getting some work done.
Co-working spaces in Cancun: Final Thoughts
I hope I managed to offer some great places where you can work remotely while you are traveling around Mexico and in Cancun.
Keep in mind that these co-working spaces are more formal than the ones you usually find elsewhere, but they do their job if you are in need of a quiet space to work on your business.
