Top 13 Cancun Day Passes at the Best All-Inclusive Resorts
Staying in a beach club in Cancun is the best gift you can give to yourself. Imagine spending your day basking in the sun, with easy access to stunning beaches, luxurious pools, and top-notch amenities. You get to enjoy gourmet dining, refreshing drinks, and fun activities without the commitment of a hotel stay.
Obviously, if you are already staying in one of the luxurious hotels in the hotel zone, you wouldn’t need that. However, the Cancun beach is pretty long, and you could stay at a beach club in a different area for a change.
As someone who lived in Cancun for many years and still calls it home despite my frequent travels, I love getting a day pass at one of the city’s spectacular all-inclusive beach clubs. I used to go all the time to what’s now called Krystal Palaces, the former Hyatt. It was stunning, and it still is.
Getting a day pass in Cancun is a fantastic way to experience everything an all-inclusive hotel offers without committing to a full stay and breaking the bank.
With these Cancun day passes, you can enjoy beautiful beaches and pools, dine at top-notch restaurants, and have fun at bars and clubs. So, let’s dive into the 11 best Cancun day passes.

What are Cancun resort day passes, and how do you use them?
But first, let’s clarify what Cancun Day passes are.
Cancun resort day passes are a great way to enjoy the amenities of an all-inclusive resort without staying overnight.
There are many different types of day passes available — from family-friendly packages to adults-only resorts — you can choose the one that best suits your needs.
Whether you’re looking for a relaxing day by the pool or an action-packed day filled with activities, there’s a Cancun resort day pass for you.
Basically, there are no beach clubs in Cancun, and paying for a day pass at a hotel is the only way to enjoy the facilities of an equipped beach.
Oops, sorry. There is actually one Beach Club in Cancun that is not a hotel, and that is the Hard Rock Cafe. It is located on a great beach and also features a paid parking lot where you can leave your car safely parked. However, it doesn’t have all the perks that hotels have.

Cancun travel FAQs
Does Hard Rock Hotel offer day passes?
At the time of writing this article, Hard Rock Hotel in Cancun doesn’t offer day passes to limit the number of guests in the hotel spaces. However, I suggest you ask in case they change their policy by the time you travel.
Does Temptation Cancun offer day passes?
Temptation is a unique, all-inclusive resort offering optional clothing and an exotic experience. In order to protect the privacy of its guests, day and/or night passes are not available at Temptations Resort Cancun.
What is the best time to travel to Cancun?
The best time to travel to Cancun depends on what kind of traveler you are.
If you’re looking to escape the cold weather of winter and early spring, December to April is your best bet.
The weather is warm and sunny, and plenty of activities and events are happening. However, because this is peak season (hello, Spring Break!) you’re looking at higher hotel and flight prices.
If you’re a budget traveler looking to save money, I recommend traveling during the low season from May to November.
The weather is still nice, but there are smaller crowds, which means you’ll find better deals on flights, accommodations, and activities.
How do you get from the airport to your resort?
The Cancun International Airport is one of the busiest airports in Mexico, serving millions of passengers each year. It’s a short drive from the resorts in the Cancun Hotel Zone.
There are a few different ways to get from the airport to your resort. I recommend that you book private airport transport.
It’s the most comfortable and private way to get there, and it’s cheaper than a taxi! And there is no Uber in Cancun, if you were wondering.
What are the best restaurants in Cancun?
Cancun has some amazing restaurants where you can eat. From delicious Italian to authentic Mexican, there’s an eatery out there for everyone.
While it’s hard to pinpoint exactly which ones I love the most, these are three of my favorites:
- Puerto Madero Restaurant in the Hotel Zone
- NI (Nizuc Hotel & Spa)
- Thai Restaurant in Plaza La isla – Hotel Zone
Whether you’re staying at an all-inclusive resort or not, be sure to check out these great restaurants in Cancun.
